Mostly positive because they can learn,create,interact and discover things about themselves but it can also do some negative things to them,depending on how they use social media.

Avengers MEDIA ANALYSIS

The film cover (Avengers 2012?) shows a ton of action, probably an action/thriller movie. The people in the cover are serious, their faces either frowning or alert and there are explosions and crashes in the background, suggesting tragedy and destruction. The title shows the superhero's symbol at the front perhaps suggesting that they're the main good guys and will win. The movie was directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige. It seems to be targeted to male teenagers and male adults because of the fact that the main cast seems to be majority male with stereotypical imagery of destruction and extreme action. The characters in this movie poster shows a majority white male cast with only one female superhero and a green guy, though he doesn't rep anyone. This shows that the lack of represenation means the producers might uncosciencely have a bias or other groups just don't make sense in this sort of show, e.g. disabled people. Denotations and Connotations

  I can see a child that looks upset and impoverished. It could be a poster for a charity, showing the lack of fresh water people in poorer places have, trying to avoid death and try to make a change, as inferred from the words. The charity might be trying to communicate to the audience to donate money to help those in need, hoping the pitiful advert may sway the hearts of people in more richer places in the world. This advert shows Heinz ketchup cut and shaped and symbolising its original form, a tomato. 'No one grows ketchup like Heinz' could tell the audience that they have the best, very tasty sauce and they show that physically as well in the ad, shaping the bottle as a sack of cut tomato's.
